Yahoo! announced Tuesday it will be partnering with Twitter to integrate the microblogging website’s feeds into Yahoo!’s various online properties.
Well, it’s about time!
Now anyone with a Yahoo! ID can check their news, email and also access and update their Twitter feeds through these various channels, which allows them to stay even more up-to-the-date with the latest information.
Yahoo! users can now see real-time Twitter updates on many topics while browsing Yahoo’s news, finance, sports and entertainment websites.
For Twitter, the Yahoo partnership will expand the reach of its real time updates and demonstrate the value of its online service.
This is an amazing feat. All I have to say is watch out Google, Twitter could be the Internet’s next ruler.
